The National Azadagan* Front of Afghanistan (NAFA) inflicted heavy casualties on the Taliban** in one of its attacks in Kabul province.

KABUL, April 24 - Sangar, Farzam Kazemi. The attack coincided with the first meeting of members of this anti-Taliban front in Europe.

Abdulfattah Adib, a spokesman for the Front, told the Sangar website that front forces attacked the house of Qari Zainullah, the Taliban police chief in Istalif district, Kabul province, in a pre-planned operation at 19:00 yesterday, April 23.

“Qari Zainullah, the commander of the Taliban, and his men engage in lawlessness and torture against the indigenous population, vainly search houses, detain innocent young people, and extort money from them after beating them,” Abdulfattah Adib said.

According to the source, as a result of the attack, seven bodyguards of Qari Zainullah were killed, and all their weapons and equipment obtained from his house fell into the hands of the Azadagan Front (people of high morality).

Meanwhile, according to information that reached Sangar from other sources, Qari Zainulla himself was seriously wounded at the beginning of the attack and taken out of the area. There is no information about whether he is alive or dead.

The operation took place just an hour after the end of the political and cultural event of members of the Azadagan Front in Europe, which was attended by dozens of Afghan cultural figures and political elite living on the continent.

The event entitled "The Afghan crisis and ways out of it" was held on April 23 and 24 in the city of Urmond, the Netherlands. It was attended by a number of representatives of the former Afghan parliament, poets, writers, and representatives of the Afghan political elite living in Europe.

This is the first political and cultural meeting of the anti-Taliban fronts, organized by the cultural commission of the National Azadagan Front of Afghanistan, which reviewed the current situation in Afghanistan and said no to the Taliban regime.

The National Azadagan Front of Afghanistan is the second anti-Taliban front after the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, led by Ahmad Massoud. According to official figures, it was founded in October last year under the leadership of Dr. Suleiman, a man familiar in certain circles, but not sufficiently unfamiliar with Afghan society.

According to information found by Sangar from his sources, Dr. Suleiman is a Tajik from the province of Parvan, who in recent years has lived mainly in Europe, and the front he founded consists mainly of former military and cultural and political figures who are not related to former parties.

On the other hand, the event in the Netherlands was presented by a number of figures from this political and military front, such as Golnur Bahman, Sardar Rahman Ogli, Nima Suratgar, and Mohammad Ajan Giljai, Karim Kuhyar, Samad Karmand, Zargoneh Vali and others.
