Any Taliban who does not accept US dollars as a gift will be killed.

One thing that those who believe in political Islam do not understand is that this story is now out of the control of Muslims who consider themselves to be true Muslims and defenders of the religion. Since the Jihad, control of political Islam has passed into the hands of Britain and the United States. They used political Islam as a weapon against the Soviet Union and then threw it away.

But they immediately realized that this weapon was useful and should not be thrown away. They created the Taliban, which, on the surface, made the same narrative of political Islam their slogan, but they had no understanding of it or commitment to it. This made people hate the narrative of political Islam and led to the category falling further into the arms of the US and Britain.

The immediate leaders of political Islam (Ustad Rabbani and his ilk) who were deeply committed to this category were killed, and only those (Hakmatyar and his ilk) who were connected to and protected by intelligence networks survived.

Those who still believe in political Islam, to protect themselves from the cynicism and hatred resulting from the actions of groups such as the Taliban, discuss the issue of moderation and think that by making adjustments to extremist thoughts, they can maintain this idea and return to the arena of politics and power. This approach is not wrong, but, as already mentioned, it ignores what I call the emergence of political Islam from Muslim control.

True political Islam, in its most optimistic version, can live on when it can change itself much more than today's moderates imagine if it can get out of the control of the colonialists, go through the razor's edge of the rationalists, criticism, and survive. In this case, it will lead to secularism.

But the colonialists cannot abandon them so easily. They view political Islam as part of a motivational belief aimed at training an army of ignorant and murderous people with great power to suppress and sabotage. In such a situation, any group that includes political Islam and the creation of an Islamic government in its slogans, the colonialists create a field for it only if it offers a newer version of cruelty and violence. They must show that they are more violent than previous Islamist groups. For example, the Taliban took the field from the Mujahideen by showing cruelty and atrocities, and now ISIS wants to take the initiative from the Taliban by showing even greater cruelty.

There's some kind of bloody auction going on here. The winner is the one who has a high propensity for violence. No one can buy moderates at this auction. They can only count on those Muslims who have not yet been forced by the brutality of the Taliban and ISIS to reconsider their faith and understanding of religion.

But how can they fight the profitable project of extremism? Relying on them means relying on local, weak, and conservative forces. Forces that have neither the courage to confront the armed forces of extremists nor the courage to reconsider their religious beliefs. They are more concerned with preserving their religious beliefs than with Islam or their society. They are useful for the pulpit and the altar, but not for war, struggle, and politics!

However, the US and Britain have so dominated the sphere of religious thought and political Islam that moderate, unruly, and honest Islamists are killed by their colleagues if for any reason they fall into the ranks of extremist movements. Sirajuddin or Mullah Yaqub killed Ayman al-Zawahiri. Although Zawahiri was not a moderate, he was not part of the Taliban project and should have been killed by the Taliban. Many killings within the Taliban have roots in this program. Any aspirant who is inclined to moderation and intends to renounce violence will be killed. And his killer can even be his bodyguard.

In the same way, purges were carried out in the ranks of the Mujahideen. The new participants in the project killed the real mujahideen. This project is also being implemented among the Taliban. Any Taliban who does not accept US dollars as a gift will be killed. If he agrees, he will find himself inside the project and will live for some time, obeying the orders of the owners of the dollars.

In short, if moderates do not intend to deceive themselves or deceive others deliberately, they should reconsider their beliefs and perceptions and, of course, their analysis of the political situation.
