Why should Tajiks fight?

Author: Rustam Roshangar

Note. With the second takeover of our country and land by the Taliban, we and you have very clear, strong, humane, and right reasons to fight them. Now you can justify the reasons for the war as you wish. If you want, make a religious justification, and if you want, a rational and humanitarian one. In both cases, your war with the Taliban is not only legal but necessary and inevitable.

I will first touch upon rational, human, and humanitarian causes. These reasons can be explained in two parts.

First part:

The talib is an absolutely evil force. The talib is a destructive and ruinous monster. The talib is the enemy of humanity. The talib is the enemy of freedom. The talib is the enemy of equality and justice. Talib is against science and honor. The Talib is against enlightenment, unity, and progress of our country and society. Isn't war against such a force a conscious duty of a decent and conscientious person? The answer is definitely yes. So we, Tajiks, as people who do not tolerate oppression, evil, corruption, bloodshed, and destruction, are obliged to fight the Taliban. This means that if we do not fight, we will all be destroyed.

This is not only an ethnic issue. Every decent person bears the moral duty of the war against the Taliban. Hazara, Pashtun, Uzbek, and representatives of all ethnic groups and tribes are the purpose of our presentation in this section. No informed and free person who claims honor, decency, and moral superiority can under any circumstances justify his silence before the Taliban. Of course, silence here means abandoning the philosophy of war against the Taliban, and does not mean the silence that many freedom fighters against Taliban oppression keep for logical reasons! Please note that here we are discussing the thought and philosophy of the war against the Taliban, and this discussion is somewhat different from direct and active armed war. That is, it is essential that you believe that the war against the Taliban is a human mission. Whether you can currently engage in battle with this group is a separate question.

The second part:

In this section, we discuss ethnic reasons. Talib is an anti-Tajik force. There are many reasons for this.

The first reason is that the Taliban has been in a state of war and enmity with the Tajiks since its inception. The Talib does not forget the enmity with the Tajik. It was us, the Tajiks, who fought the Taliban on an empty stomach 25 years ago and left the dream of this barbaric group and foreign supporters unfulfilled. The presence of a certain number of ignorant Tajiks or professional criminals in the ranks of the Taliban does not change anything. Unfortunately, there are always unreasonable people in the nation, selling their conscience, having a dead, ignorant, and short-sighted conscience, and becoming enemies and fighting against their people and nation. In the Taliban regime, under the name of religion, such people are drawn into the enemy's ranks, and until their minds return, it will be too late for them.

The second reason is that the Taliban is an anti-Tajik group that is in the service of the Pashtunists. I emphasize and explain that Pashtunists. Please note that when we say Pashtunists, this does not include all Pashtuns. Although unfortunately, there are a lot of such Pashtuns who support the Taliban, there are a lot who have a vigilant conscience and believe in humanity among the Pashtuns. But the Taliban are controlled by Pashtunists, and many Taliban leaders are Pashtunists themselves. Those who have read at least a little of the political history of Afghanistan know that the Pashtunists consider the Tajiks their worst enemy and use any means to suppress, eliminate and destroy the Tajiks.

Therefore, the verdict of common sense is that the Tajik must fight the Taliban in order to liberate his land and provide the ground for its progress and development, on which the life and death of millions of people depend, and also to protect their identity, history, culture, language, and others. the-spiritual values. This is a natural right for all human groups and no law, organization, or religion anywhere in the world can deny this right, and if they want to deny it, they are committing a crime against humanity.

But the religious reasons for the war with the Taliban. A war with the Taliban is also obligatory from a religious point of view.

The first reason: From the very beginning, the creators of the Taliban project, knowing the religious beliefs of the Afghan people, in order to behead and take revenge on him, they made a sword, which they called the “talib”.

The Taliban patrons knew that if the people of Afghanistan were harmed in any way from a religious point of view, they would not open their mouths to protest. These people very easily forgot the crimes of several centuries of Arabs under the name of religion and believed that any injustice towards us is our share.

The second reason is that the Taliban is clearly an anti-religious project. This media intelligence project is actually the most effective anti-religious project in the world, and modern world history has not seen such a rapid development thanks to the intelligence project to separate people from religion. We see that all the religious authorities of the Islamic world constantly made statements against this group and its inhumane behavior and called their actions a disgrace and great damage to religion.

The third reason: the religion of Islam ordered its followers to fight against oppression, ignorance, and aggression. This is the meaning of jihad. A reasonable Mujahid knows the meaning of this word. That is, the war against the Taliban is the Great Jihad (Jihad Akbar). As mentioned above, the Taliban backers deliberately chose a religious name and symbol for the anti-human movement so that the religious people of Afghanistan would always hesitate to take up the sword against this group.

I can safely say that the British, Soviet and American aggression in Afghanistan was not as harmful as the existence of a group called the Taliban hit this country and its material and spiritual values.

Since I am talking about the Tajiks, I emphasize once again that the war against the Taliban is very relevant for us. The above reasons are a summary of many and detailed reasons, the description of which, in the words of Rumi, "Requires a ton of paper."

Why did I write this note? One of the reasons for writing was the reaction to the death of commander Khair Mohammad Khairkhah, one of the brave and courageous commanders of the Resistance Front in Andarab. Some friends react as if Tajiks have never seen blood in their lives. This perception of the war with the Taliban means that for us and our fighters, the war was not a conscious choice and we did not know what we were getting into. When it's not. We know how terrible and inhumane the Taliban are, and that's why we chose war, and we also know how difficult it is. Otherwise, the war would not be worth it.

Our people have made constant sacrifices over the last fifty years. Even under the governments of Karzai and Ghani, our people's share of daily deaths in the army, police, and national security was far greater than what we have lost in the past year and a half in the resistance in the war against a cruel, vile and barbaric enemy. At the end of Ghani's reign, dozens of coffins containing martyrs were sent daily to the lands of the resistance, most of whom died as a result of an ethnic conspiracy. Both their enemies and their commanders had an ethnic dislike for them! Compared to this, the losses of the resistance forces over the past year have been very minimal. If today we are fighting for ourselves today, then yesterday we were fighting for the continuation of the power of those who had a long-standing enmity against us.

I do not intend to defend the mistakes and shortcomings of those who manage the war. I have always told my friends in the resistance that we must look at problems critically, be ready to accept criticism, and learn a lot from every blow we receive for the future because the war imposed on us can be long and difficult. However, our determination to continue the war must not be broken. We must know that our war is right and necessary. We may discuss military tactics, military strategies, our forces, military leaders, etc., and openly criticize shortcomings and mistakes, but we must not doubt for a moment the sanctity and legitimacy of our war.

Let's not forget that our dastardly enemy has vast propaganda tools, and he uses all his propaganda capabilities to break our morale and weaken our fighting motivation.

Our enemy secretly buried the bodies of his most elite commanders and officials in the war against us, but when he strikes at us, his propaganda inflates them so as to make us afraid, tremble and stop fighting him.

But we must know that this war is our own war for ourselves, for our own benefit, our own legal right, and is approved by every decent and knowledgeable person anywhere in the world, and approved by a just God! Every religion and nation that claims justice and believes in the freedom and dignity of man considers our war necessary and sacred! We continue this war with firm faith and are sure that one day everyone will realize the truth of our war.
