Media reports about the presence of dozens of soldiers and officers of the former armed forces of Afghanistan in the Ukrainian war

The Telegram channel @wargonzo reports the presence of 37 Afghans on the territory of the Azov Stal mining plant in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region of Ukraine, where they are fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to @wargonzo, this became known to the Donbas intelligence officers after another radio intercept a few days ago.
“Just the day before, the Afghans got in touch and requested an evacuation corridor from the industrial zone in Mariupol, where they are surrounded along with neo-Nazis from Azov. It was the militants, by the way, who blocked the negotiations on the evacuation of foreigners by the fighters of the People's Militia of the DPR and the Russian Federation, ” the source writes.
Azov Steel is a metallurgical plant located in the city of Mariupol, on the coast of the Sea of Azov, and is a monopoly in the production of certain metal products in Ukraine. According to the latest data, it suffered greatly from the current war.
As for the Afghan fighters in Azov Stal and how they joined the Ukrainian armed forces, the Telegram channel @wargonzo talks about those special forces who previously worked for the pro-American government of Ashraf Ghani.
“After the withdrawal of NATO troops and the victory of the Taliban*, they were evacuated to the United States, where they entered the service of the PMC Academy (formerly Black Waters). They are just one of those military men, whose education and training the Americans were actively engaged in Afghanistan. They came to Mariupol to fight as mercenaries,” the Telegram channel writes.
This is the second time that the media have reported on the participation of Afghans in the war in Ukraine. Earlier, the British BBC spoke with an Afghan who said that he had been living in Ukraine since 1998 and was fighting the Russians because they ruined his life in Afghanistan, and now they are ruining it here as well.
But on his chest, you can see the emblem of the special forces of the commandos of the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan (in the first photo) under the pro-American administrations of Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani, which casts doubt on his claims to the life in Ukraine since 1998.

Earlier, the media also reported that Marshal Abdurshid Dostum intends to send part of his troops to Ukraine at the request of Turkey. However, Hashem Rais, one of his close associates, who is said to have come to Iran on this mission, was arrested and imprisoned by the Islamic Republic's intelligence agencies, and his fate is still unknown.
According to reports already available to Sangar, the Ukrainian delegation also entered into negotiations with the Taliban, urging them to send 5,000 troops to Ukraine in exchange for $500 million.
