Abu Omar, one of the two leaders of the Jamaat Ansarullah, was killed in the Afghan province of Badakhshan.
Kunduz, January 6 - Sangar, Jamshid Badakhshi. Contrary to Western media propaganda glorifying Mahdi Arsalan, Abu Omar was the prominent leader of Jamaat Ansarullah in Badakhshan, one of the terrorist group's two main bases in Afghanistan.
In the first information circulated in the Afghan media, he was presented as one of the most experienced Taliban bomb makers in Badakhshan.
"His body was found today (Wednesday, January 4) at 18:00 in the village of Kuk, Dashti Farakh, Baharak district," the statement said.
Meanwhile, Sangar sources from the Badakhshan Taliban say Abu Omar was killed under mysterious circumstances by an unknown group that is likely linked to smugglers or foreign terrorist groups.
A Sangar source in Baharak, who knows some of the details of the murder of Abu Omar, says that on the night he was killed, he drove alone to Baharak in a pickup truck and on the road in the Kuhak area between Dashti Firaq and Apchidara, the tire of his car burst.
“In this area, houses are scattered here and there. His car had a flat tire behind one of the houses. The owner of the one of houses saw that one person was walking around the car, and then another car drove up with armed people who quickly repaired the car and took Abu Omar with them," the source said.
According to him, the body of Abu Omar in a secluded valley of this region was discovered by a shepherd who informed the people about it.
“His body was under his car as if he had been hit by his own car. There were no weapons or other things in the car. Apparently, he was brought there by people he knew, and it is not known what the conversation was about and why he was killed, ”the source said.
Later, the Taliban arrived in the area and put a bag on the head of the owner of the house, behind which Abu Omar stopped, and took him away.
“He is a poor man with many children. He was taken away and then tortured only because he said that the car of Abu Omar, whom he did not even know, had a flat tire and was taken away by armed men,” the source said.
Some audio recordings of Abu Omar and photographs of foreign terrorists that sources provided to Sangar (and will not be published for security reasons) show that he was busy buying weapons and ammunition, especially the M4 machine gun and American rifles, and foreign terrorists have weapons depots in the areas of Warduj, Baharak, Jurm and the city of Fayzabad, the center of Badakhshan province.
"Abu Omar" was the nickname of the main commander of Jamaat Ansarullah in Badakhshan. He, in cooperation with Qari Faruq Uighuri (commander of the Islamic Movement of East Turkestan), Sheikh Zakir (commander of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan), and Qari Zahir Uighuri (commander of Al-Qaeda in Badakhshan) was involved in arms and drug smuggling," the source said.
According to him, Abu Omar and other commanders of foreign fighters are in contact with large and medium-sized smugglers of Badakhshan and Pashtuns of Jalalabad, Helmand, and Kandahar, and, in particular, buy opium and gunpowder in Badakhshan province and sell them to Pashtun smugglers.
“They are doing this in cooperation with various local Taliban commanders, including Mullah Hafez (commander of the "Third Umar" division of the Taliban Ministry of Defense, one of the associates of Qari Fasihuddin, chief of staff of the Taliban army), Mullah Amanuddin (Governor of Badakhshan), Mullah Jamil (one of the influential commanders of the Tajik Taliban in Badakhshan), Mullah Mahbub Khostaki (сhief of Staff of the "Third Umar" division),” the source said.
According to sources, Abu Omar Tajik led approximately 90 members of the Ansarullah group, who are present around the airport and Shahri Jadid (New City) of Faizabad city, Warduj and Baharak districts, and Jurm of Badakhshan province.
“After the fall of the republic, Abu Omar first settled in the center of Baharak district. He and 14 other families of Tajik terrorists lived in the house of one of the commanders of the anti-Taliban forces. A few months ago, he moved with his family to Shahri Nav in the city of Faizabad. He occupied a house here, and together with one Chechen, they were training the Taliban and foreign fighters to make and use bombs,” the source said.
According to the latest reports from sources, Taliban and foreign terrorist organizations commanders held a meeting in Faizabad after the assassination of Abu Omar and demanded a broad investigation. This meeting was attended by two people from the Ansarullah group, nicknamed "Umar" and "Salman", one of whom is likely to replace "Abu Omar".
According to information received to date, the Jamaat Ansarullah group in Afghanistan is mainly present in the provinces of Badakhshan and Kunduz, and its number does not exceed 500 people.
Sources say that "Mehdi Arsalan", presented by the Taliban intelligence and with its handouts by the Western media as the leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban Tajikistan, does not play a significant role in the group and now lives in Kabul and is a link between the smugglers of terrorist organizations Badakhshan and Pashtun smugglers in the south. One of his last trips to Jalalabad, the provincial capital of Nangarhar, took place in September, the details of which, although very scarce, are very interesting. Sometimes he is found in the Nusay region, where relatives of his wife live. Unlike Abu Omar, and despite the prohibitions of the Taliban, songs by Tajik performers are always heard in his car.
