Afghanistan is a bone stuck in Pakistan's throat.

Recently, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army has said that the life of a Pakistani is more important than the whole of Afghanistan. These words of his have provoked a wave of reactions on virtual pages, politicians, and media discussions. Along with this news, I intend to write a few points as an analysis as to why the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army made unprecedented remarks:

General Asim Munir's message is probably a reaction to the possible alliance between India and the Taliban and the possibility of a strategic alliance between them. This alliance may take place through the mediation of the US;

- Pakistan's entry into the circle of regional circle and the declaration of the first speech act by the Pakistani army;

- General Asim Munir's message was actually an attempt to raise the lost prestige of the Pakistan Army after a wave of bloody attacks in this country;

- The main purpose of his words is an attempt for a disconnected and fragmented political society inside Pakistan that has deeply suffered a crisis of political dispersion;

- Putting psychological pressure on the Taliban, who gradually, have exceeded the agenda of Pakistan's interests. In this regard, we can talk about Pakistan's anger towards the Taliban regarding the formation of a movement separate from this country's plans in Afghanistan;

- These words of him, in fact, have a domestic use and are mostly aimed at the leading elections in this country;

- In a way, these words may be an attempt on the part of the army of this country to exonerate the accusations against this country, which has failed to do any practical work in this regard;

- Completion of proof to Pakistan's enemies such as Pashtuns, Baloch and TTP, whose existential philosophy is mostly based on controlling ISI's rebellions in times of need;

- Showing Pakistan's good will in the foreign dimension for the regional alliance that is being formed and proving the sincerity of this country's army in the matter of fighting its enemies. This works against the interests of Pakistan in two ways.

But let's remember that Afghanistan is a bone stuck in Pakistan's throat and it will be very difficult for Pakistan to remove this bone alone or to digest it. At the same time, Pakistanis are trying to protect their interests in the midst of the geopolitical transition and avoid its possible harm in order to overcome the current chaotic situation, both domestically and internationally.
